Finally, the Pride of the Italian Line in 1/350 scale! The SS Rex is from the same team that brought you the 1/350 SS Normandie Ocean Liner. This four year project is a 100% new model and represents the Rex in her glory years of the mid 1930s. All design work was done in CAD by Ken Friend, a master modeler, designer and builder of experimental engines and test equipment and an engineer who specialized in CAD/CAM/CAE Systems Management and Implementation. All of the smaller parts are printed on ultra-high resolution 3D SLA resin printers. These parts meet and often exceed what is possible with injection molded plastic. Only the larger parts (hull, deck pieces and funnels)are cast resin. These are pressure-cast from de-aired molds to minimize air bubbles. The Italian Line advertised that "The Southern Route Is the Lido Deck Route." By virtue of avoiding the stormy and cold North Atlantic, travelers experienced a true outdoor lifestyle. The Rex was intentionally designed for this. For this model, extensive research and time was spent capturing the exact look of the colorful 1st and 2nd Class Aft Pool Areas- from the changing room & showers, grab rope on the pool, pool slide, stairs & diving boards, tables with umbrellas, recessed (covered) 1st Class Restaurant/Lounge and more. Because of the superior performance of 3D Printing, over 90% of the usual PE (photoetched) metal parts are now 3D printed resin. This is a vast improvement as they are no longer flat, but are true to the shape of the prototype. This also makes for a nearly complete model "out-of-the-box." Very rare. Large 1/28 scale motorized kit with many working features. A factory-assembled metal gear box with nylon gears is driven by a common FA-130 motor. This gearbox spins the propeller and drives the tail wheel, moving the aircraft across any smooth surface while the red and green wing navigation light blink on and off. Factory glue is included as well as all running hardware and lights. Please note that KSN did not furnish the motor with the kit. Features hidden battery compartment (where the real engine would be) and it has moving rudder, elevator, ailerons and wing flaps. The kit has never been started. The small parts, gearbox, lights and glue are still factory sealed. The plastic parts that were factory sealed are still sealed in the original clear bags; the few large parts (wings and fuselage) that were never sealed are inventoried compete. The large full-color card showing aircraft and famous pilots is in 'excellent' condition . Includes instructions and decals both in 'excellent' condition. The box is 100% complete with four solid corners and no repairs or tape. But it does have the stain shown on the left and general wear as shown, hence the 'good-' grade.

From the mid 1960s and rare in this condition. This is the large 1/3 scale motorized Wankle which is long out of production. The outer box is 'very good' and all of the inner packing boxes are complete and in 'excellent+' or better condition. The paperwork is unusually complete with the Renwal Warranty Sheet, Warranty Registration Card, Instructions Supplement sheet, the booklet 'How A Rotary Engine Works' and full instructions. All paperwork is in 'excellent+' condition or better. The kit is molded in clear, orange, black, grey and contains a great deal of other hardware including the electric motor, gears, 3V light bulbs (for ignition simulation), springs, belt, tubing, screws, nuts and various contacts. The kit has never been started. All of the hardware and smaller parts that were sealed at the factory are still factory sealed. The other parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete.
